ROGERS, MATTHEW T. - It is with great sadness the family of Matthew Todd Rogers of Saint John announces his death, which took place in December 2008. Matthew was born in Saint John on April 9, 1976 to Daniel and Virginia (Small) Rogers. He was a graduate of Simonds High School 1994. He worked at the QE11 Health Sciences Center in Halifax from 1997 to 2004 and as a supervisor for Service Master in Moncton from 2005 to 2008. Matthew's most pleasant pastimes were visiting zoos and pet stores with his precious daughters and visits to Grand Manan to see his Nana. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Lisa (Tutty) and his daughters Emma (11) and Caitlyn (9) ; one brother Michael and his sister Jill as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Matthew was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Guy and Helen Rogers and his maternal grandparents Spencer and Alice Small. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). At Matt's request there will be no visitation. Private family services will be held at a later date. Following cremation interment will take place at Fern hill cemetery.
