MCKINNEY, RACHAEL - It is with great sadness that the family of Rachael McKinney announces her passing at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 21st, 2009 at the age of 86. Born in Queenstown, NB, she leaves to mourn her sons, John (Marilyn) McKinney of Gagetown, Brian (Gwen) McKinney of New Maryland and Frank (Michelle) McKinney of Ottawa, ON; daughter, Faye (Ron) Pawlik of Tamworth, ON; grandchildren, June (Derek), Eric (Lora), Jason, Wells, Joy (Carter), Shawn, Justin, Josh, Megan and Matthew; great grandchild, Ariel, and several other relatives, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rachael is predeceased by her husband of 57 years, John Gordon McKinney; her parents, Pearl and Lewis Preston; sister, Louise McDonald and brother, Frank Preston. Rachael was loving mother who devoted her life to her kids and the farm where she lived. She will be sadly missed. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago st., on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 from 5 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Gagetown, on Friday, April 24th, at 2 pm with Fr. Gerald Laskey officiating.
