GOURLAY, LILLIAN - 1917 - 2009 - Lillian Gourlay of Odell passed away at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on May 5, 2009. Born in Odell, NB on December 4, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Mabel (Wells) Smith. Lillian leaves behind her daughter Shirley (Stewart) Turner of Oromocto, NB; her sons David Bloodsworth of Brantford, ON, Junior Lewis Smith of Calgary, AB; her brothers Merle (Pearl) Smith of New Maryland, Delbert (Alice) Smith of Plaster Rock, Carl Smith of Plaster Rock; six grandchildren Lloyd Turner, Carol Coulson, Bonnie Sparks, Pam Gibson, Sarah Bloodsworth, Warren Bloodsworth; three great grandchildren Dana Coulson, Luke Coulson, Jeff Turner as well as several nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Ralph Sprague, second husband Robert Gourlay, her daughter Dorothy Carpenter and her brothers Ralph, David and Alvin Smith. By Lillian's request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10am from Brunswick Funeral Home Chapel.
