PAUL EMERY HENDERSON
HENDERSON, PAUL EMERY - The death of Paul Emery Henderson of Quispamsis, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer on May 10, 2009. Born 1938 on Campobello Island, he was the son of the late Cecil and Lucy (Malloch) Henderson. Paul devoted his life to his children and grandchildren and loved to be outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. He taught Industrial arts at Princess Elizabeth School for his entire teaching career of over 30 years, retiring in 1993. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gloria Henderson (Conley); sons Danny and Tony Henderson of Saint John; daughter Cathy McKay (Andrew) of Quispamsis; brothers Milford and Tedford of Saint John; sisters Raymah Leslie of Browns Flat, Beryl Pike of St. Stephen, Faye Lambert (Gray) of Deer Island and Dorothy Pendleton (Cleveland) of Rothesay; cherished grandchildren Kayla, Danielle, Amanda, Ryan, Sarah, Ryan, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and Madison; precious great grandchildren Kallista, Christopher and Kyla. Paul was predeceased by son Troy and brother Eugene. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday May 12, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Wednesday May 13, 2009 from Fundy Funeral Home, Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Following the service interment will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery on Deer Island.
