FEWER, CLAUDE BASIL - 91, of Deerville, NB passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at The Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Claude was born in Deerville, NB, on February 10, 1918, son of the late Ernest and Agnes (White) Fewer. Claude is survived by his wife Emma (Steeves) Fewer, sister, Anna Gallivan, nephew, Patrick (Sue), two nieces, Theresa, Cathy, two great nieces, Molly, Laura, stepson, Lawson Steeves (Susan), stepdaughter, Sylvia LeBlanc (Frank), several cousins. Besides his parents, Claude was predeceased by a brother, James. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Monday, May 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 AM from St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Lakeville NB with Fr. Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
