MAGUIRE, MARGUERITA (RITA) HAZEL - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marguerita (Rita) Hazel Maguire, wife of the late Russell Maguire, which occurred on Sunday May 10, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born 1929 she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Greenlees) McTier. Rita is survived by her sons Graham (Barb) Maguire of Rothesay and Arleigh (Nancy) Maguire of P.E.I.; daughter Kathleen (Allen) Hanson of Clifton Royal; grandchildren Melissa, Jason, Jennifer and Sheila and great grandchildren Taylor and Lily; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Russell she was predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Street and Wilma McTier. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday May 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from Silver Falls United Church on Thursday May 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
