LAPOINTE, SYLVIA - In Edmundston Regional Hospital, May 14, 2009 at 83 years and two months, Mrs. Sylvia Hachey Lapointe of Edmundston, NB passed away. She was the wife of the late Guy Lapointe. She leaves her sons; Guy (Sonya) of Toronto and Pierre (Tina) of Edmundston; her daughters; Louella (Jean Levasseur) of Halifax, NS, Lise Dionne of Edmundston, Suzanne (Bill Sullivan)of Edmundston, Diane Carrier of Edmundston, Sylvie Belanger (Richard Roy) of St-Basile, and Danielle (Michael LeBlanc) of Fredericton. Also 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Jacques and Denis. The Funeral Service will be Monday, May 18 at 11:00 am in The Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Edmundston. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday, and from 9 to 11am Monday at JB Cote & Fils Ltee Funeral Home, 21, 37th Avenue, Edmundston, NB.
