ROCHE, PATRICK HENRY - Passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal on May 5, 1925, he was the son of the late William and Charlotte (Joint) Roche. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the nave until 1952. Patrick worked in the electronic business, working with Cox Electronic's for many years. He then went on to work for the Princess of Acadia until his retirement in the early 1980's. He was a 50 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. He is survived by his sons, Patrick Daniel (Beverley) Roche, Saint John; Kevin Roche, Martinon; David Roche, Saint John; daughters, Cathy (Dale) Hawkins, Winnipeg; Marion Roche, Saint John; Tammy Roche, Saint John; brothers, Desmond Roche, Montreal; Frank Roche, Ontario; sister, Kay Roche, Montreal; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Genevieve (Thibodeau). Cremation will take place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
