MCCLEAVE, KATHLEEN ELIZABETH - born November 16th,1958, passed peacefully away in her sleep with family by her side, after an inspirational journey with cancer on May 15th, 2009 while at the incomparable palliative Care Floor of the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Centre. She was predeceased by Harry David McCleave. Kathleen is survived by their children, Harry William and Karin Elizabeth, they have always been her greatest joy. Kathleen was born in Saint John, the eldest child of Anthony and Elizabeth Kennett. She enjoyed many things in life including music and travel but was most passionate about the people she met along the way. She treasured time spent with her children and with her faithful and amazing friends, their constant love, presence and support throughout the past year nourished Kath's incredible spirit and attitude. This was uplifting for family who were able to visit, including her mother, siblings Susan (David) Campbell, Robert, Michael, Frances (George) Fullerton, as well as David's siblings, John (Anne Marie), Stephen (Linda) and Robert (Lois). Edward, his wife Susan and Meta (Tony) Wong were present with friends and family at the celebration of life, held at the Regal Road Baptist Church on Sunday May 17th. Kathleen leaves fond memories for her many nephews and nieces. Interment will take place on Sunday May 31st. in Rexton N.B. We would like to thank all who have provided such wonderful care, the radiation and chemotherapy staff, home care providers and palliative care teams. Memorials to Habitat for humanity, the palliative care unit, Cure for Cancer or charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
