FRAULEY, ARTHUR JOSEPH - It is with sorrow that the family announces the death of Arthur Joseph Frauley, born January 3, 1933. He was the son of the late Francis and Eileen Frauley. His death occurred on May 27th, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Arthur is survived by sons Larry (Pam), Tom (Kathy), and Bruce (Lisa); grandchildren Erin (Andrew Peacock), Melissa (Neil), Sarah, Theresa (Henry), Mark, Teaghan and Christopher; great granddaughter Ava; sisters Wanda (Don Murray) and Vicky (Frank Adsett), as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his loving wife Dawn, grandson Allan, sister Jenny and brother John. Prior to his retirement he was a long time employee of NBTel, member of the Telephone Pioneers and made significant contributions to the East Saint John Little League Simonds Minor Hockey Association and the Saint John Pepsi Midget program as coach and administrator. He will be remembered for his knowledge and passion for sports, the stock market, as well as his love and devotion to his late wife Dawn, children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday May 28th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday May 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at 10am, at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at the Ferhill Cemetery. Following the interment family and friends are invited to a reception that will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home.
