STIMSON, MARION A. - Marion A. Stimson, 69, of Moncton with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2009. Born in Millerton, she was the daughter of Emily (Walls) Mullin of Lyttleton and the late Hiram Astle. Marion was retired from The Co-operators Insurance with 40 years service and attended The Moncton Wesleyan Church. Marion enjoyed reading, working in her flower gardens, camping, travelling (especially summers in Shediac and time spent in Florida) and socializing with her family and friends. Marion will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Reg Stimson; daughter, Debra Stewart (Ric), Quispamsis; son, Dale (Gail), Moncton; her loving grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew and Kerri-Lyn; brother, Darrell Astle (Arlene), Lyttleton, sisters, Karen Cox (Jeff), Lower Derby; Shirley Whincop, Scotland; stepmother, Grace Astle, Quarryville; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
