RAYNES, EVELYN MARY - The death of Evelyn Mary Raynes occurred on Saturday May 30th, 2009 at her residence the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home. Born 1939 in White's Mills, NB on July 23rd, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jennie (Clark) Raynes. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her brothers, Ben Raynes (Chris) and Kenneth Raynes (Isabelle) both of Milkish Creek; sisters Helen Speight of Milkish Creek and Mabel Lawless of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters Barbara Raynes, Muriel Raynes Bishop, Rena Raynes McKnight and Mae Raynes Moore; brothers Harry, Ralph and Everett Raynes. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday June 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Harding's Point Cemetery.
