WATSON, MURRAY ALLAN - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB following a brief illness, Mr. Murray Allan Watson, loving companion of Phyllis (Gowan) Belliveau and husband of the late Linda (Harmon) Watson of St. George NB. Born at Pocologan NB on September 29, 1938, he was a son of the late Earl V. and Jessie (Shaw) Watson. A loving companion, father, grandfather, and brother, in addition to his companion Phyllis, he is survived by two sons; Shane (Dara) Watson of St. George NB, and Shawn Watson (Donna Quann) of Elmsville NB, one daughter, Sherry Brown of Surrey BC, three step daughters; Wanda (Eric) Kohler of Elmsville NB, Rosalie (Darcy) Brittain of Clarence Ridge NB and Tammy Barrio (Mark Fiander) of Rollingdam NB, 21 grandchildren including special granddaughter; Brandy Hatt, five brothers; Eric "Buddy" (Margaret) of Blacks Harbour NB, Paul (Cathy) of Pennfield NB, Douglas (Eloise) of Ludlow NB, David and Keith (Penny) both of Blacks Harbour NB, eight sisters; Shirley (Jim) Cameron of Nova Scotia, Pauline Russell of Pennfield NB, Mary Richardson of Nova Scotia, Jackie (Horace) Young of Pennfield NB, Carol (Russell) Surrette of Saint John NB, Margo (Hal) McLean of Nova Scotia, Debbie (Andy) Blanchard of St. George NB and Kelly (Danny) Fellows of Pennfield NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and first wife, Linda, he was predeceased by a step son, Stuart Barrio and by two brothers, Maurice and Arthur. Murray was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved going to yard sales and was an avid Bingo player. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #12 F&AM and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #40 both of St. George NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held from the Cornerstone Tabernacle Church, St. George NB on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Andrew Regich officiating followed by interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery. A Masonic Tribute Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 pm.
