It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Musgrave at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Katie (MacLean) MacDonald.
Margaret trained at the Grace Maternity in Halifax and worked as an obstetrical nurse at the Sydney City Hospital for a short time in the 1950s.
Wife of Albert ‘Abbey’, mother of Kathy Manning, Charlottetown; sister of Catherine Lewis (Ray); brother of Norman, both of Sydney and grandmother of Kyle and Alanna Manning, Charlottetown. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Bert; sister, Annie Mae Carroll; brothers, John, Neil, Donnie and son-in-law, Bobby Manning.
There will be no visitation for the late Mrs. Musgrave. A funeral service will be held at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel on Friday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Bob Lyle officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to The Organ & Tissue Transplant Foundation, Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
