WHITESIDE, DENNIS R. - The death of Dennis Roger Whiteside of Calgary, Alberta occurred on June 24, 2009 at the age of 61. Born in Duncan, BC, he was a son of Mary "Polly" (Burrows) Whiteside of Sussex and the late Stanley Whiteside. As well as his mother, Dennis is survived by his daughters, Tracy Booth (Robert) and Heather Kincade (Doug), all of Sussex; and son, Michael Whiteside (fiancé Miranda Murray) of Wards Creek and their mother, Arletta Whiteside of Plumweseep; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Denise, Christopher and Emily, his brother Glen Whiteside (Jill Greenly) of Lantzville, BC; and several nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his father; and a brother, Allan Burrows Whiteside. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Monday from 6 to 9PM.
