NORTHRUP, M. ANNA - The death of M. Anna Northrup of Titusville, widow of Alexander "Sandy" Northrup occurred July 4th, 2009 at Yvonne's Special Care Home. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of the late John and Albina (Gallant) Poirier. Anna was raised in St. Louis, PEI, and lived in Belleisle Creek, NB before moved to Titusville in 1971. She was a member of the Barnesville Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Marie Young (Ralph), Titusville, Elizabeth Northrup, Titusville and Wanda Gosselin (Rick), Saint John; two sons, Kenneth Northrup, Titusville, Leonard Northrup (Charlene), Petitcodiac; three sisters, Madeline McGuire, Saint John, Alfreda Bond, Saint John, Chris Helps (George), Saint John; six grandchildren, Angela Belyea, Keith Young, Kristine Northrup, Derek Northrup, Wendy Canning and Joshua Northrup; several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Anna May in infancy and Helen Northrup; one sister Carol Grant and three brothers, Raymond, Oliver and Alban Gallant. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 7 to 9pm Tuesday. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel to be followed by cremation.
