HOLT, JAMES SR. "BUSTER" - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, July 18, 2009, Mr. James Sr. "Buster" Holt of New Denmark passed away at the age of 95. He was the husband of the late Mildred Jensen. Born at Blue Bell in 1913, he was the last surviving child of the late Vernon and Ella (Stewart) Holt. He is survived by two sons, Glen of Plaster Rock and James Jr. (Ruth) of New Denmark; four grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Karla and Michael; two great grandchildren, Nolan and Destiny, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Granville and a sister, Doris Anningson. Resting at the Bethany Lutheran Church, New Denmark with visiting hours Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 21st at 2 p.m. from the church, with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Bethany Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
