ARTHURS, VICTOR LEE - The death of Victor Lee Arthurs of Moncton occurred unexpectedly on Friday July 17, 2009. Born 1965 in Black's Harbour, he is the son of Sandra (DeLong) Jefferson (Edward) and the late David Arthurs. Victor has worked as a LPN for the Moncton City Hospital for the last 10 years; prior he worked at various nursing homes in Saint John. Besides his mother he is survived by his grandmother Mabel DeLong; step grandmother Audrey Arthurs; twin brother Vincent Arthurs of Moncton and Murray Arthurs (Amy) of Borden, ON; step brother Eddie Jefferson of Ontario; step sister Karen Tighe of Sydney, Cape Breton; nieces and nephews Lianne, Emilie, Gavin and Liam; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandfather Roy DeLong. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday July 20, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday July 21, 2009 at 2 p.m. Following cremation interment will take place at a later date.
