BAIRD, CHRISTINA J. - The death of Christina J. (Dickson) Baird, wife of the late Daniel W. Baird occurred on July 18, 2009 at the Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Chatham, NB on March 29, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Havelock Dickson and Jean (Maison) Dickson. She is survived by two sons, Jack (Dorothy) Baird of Saint John and Harold (Bev) Baird of Grand Bay - Westfield; daughter Jean Reed of Miramichi; brother Roy (Annie) Dickson of Miramichi; sisters Phyllis (Keith) Taylor and Norma Morris) Jardine all of Miramichi.; two daughters-in-law Sandra Baird of Saint John and Carol Price of Woodstock, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Daniel, she was predeceased by two sons Donald and Norman Baird and four brothers Hazen, Merton, Donald,and Arthur Dickson. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) Saint John West. Visiting on Monday from 7 - 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday from "Fallsview Chapel" at 11 am. Interment in Coles Island Cemetery.
