WILSON-CAPSON, GLADYS IRENE (FLEWELLING) - It is with great sadness that the family of Gladys Irene (Flewelling) Wilson-Capson of Saint John announce her death which occurred on August 3, 2009 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born 1927 in Saint John to the late Harold and Bertha (Fullerton) Flewelling, Gladys was a devoted mother to her three sons. She enjoyed playing bingo, working on crossword puzzles and ventured to the mall just about everyday before entering Rocmaura. Gladys is survived by her three sons Arthur Edward (Bernice) Wilson of Rothesay, Charles Douglas (Dian) Wilson and Kenneth Walter (Eleanor) Wilson both of Saint John; grandchildren Melissa, Matthew, Jennifer, Heather, Andrea, Judy, Sheri, Trena, and Kenneth Jr.; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husbands Arthur Wilson and Fred Capson; brothers Walter, Gordon, and Murray Flewelling. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home (646-2424) 230 Westmorland Rd with visitations on Tuesday, August 4th from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, August 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 6th at 2:00 pm. Following a reception, interment will be held at Summerville United Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Gladys can be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Rocmaura Nursing Home Foundation, or the charity of the donor's choice.
