(Whiteway) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Dorothy Thompson, age 88 years, at Chancellor Park on Monday, July 28, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Alec R. Thompson, long time employee of Carnell's in 1980. Leaving to mourn four children: Paul Thompson, Linda Emberley (Geoff), Jane Thompson (Andy Verniquet) and Elizabeth John (Fred Penton); six grandchildren: Pamela, Alex, Stephen, Justin, Jonathan and Shannon and one great-grandchild Aidan; also several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Chancellor Park. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
