GOLDEN, DOROTHY MAY - The death of Dorothy May Golden of Loch Lomond Road, occurred on Saturday August 8, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Ida McKnight. Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, sons David (Jackie) of Saint John, William (Bill) of Saint John and John (Julie) of Clifton Royal; daughters, Debbie Perry (Peter) of Saint John, Dolores Mills (John) of Calgary and Dorothy Staniforth (Mark) of Canmore; daughter-in-law, Barb Golden of Smithtown, NB; 14 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother; husband, William Golden and son, Robert Golden. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church on Tuesday August 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
