
ARTHUR JOSEPH LEBLANC
LEBLANC, ARTHUR JOSEPH - The death of Arthur Joseph LeBlanc of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Elizabeth Jean (White) LeBlanc, occurred on Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Ridgewood Veterans Wing. Born in Saint John on July 20, 1929, he was a son of the late Frederick and Elsie (DeForest) LeBlanc. Art served with the Canadian Armed Forces and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by four sons, Arthur Jr. (Betty) of Saint John, Brian (Hazel) of Moosejaw, SK, Paul (Peggy) of Saint John and Steven (Cindy) of Read Head, NB; a daughter, Denise (Daryl) Bettle of Lakeside, NB; two brothers, Roy (Sheila) of Moncton and Fred of Saint John; two sisters, Jean Norwood of Saint John and Bertie Vanstone of Gagetown, NB; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 2005; three brothers, Everett, Albert and Gerald; two sisters, Irene Stackhouse and Lena Connell. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 11:30 am.
