GRAVES, GERALD W. - The death of Gerald Wayne Graves of Saint John, NB, husband of the late, Bonnie L. (Swim) Graves, occurred on August 16, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on February 21, 1949, he was a son of the late William M. and Hildred (Clark) Graves. Gerald was employed for at the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Porter in Housekeeping for many years. He was also a member of the R.A.O.B. Survived by his son, G. Wayne of Alberta; daughter, Marjorie Graves of Saint John; brother, R. Norman (Rose) of Ottawa, ON; sisters, Sandra McCarty (Harold) and Darlene Dickison (Robert) both of Saint John; granddaughter, Jennifer Richardson, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Gerald was predeceased by his brothers, William B. and John D. and sister, Marjorie Graves. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm from Brenan's Chapel. Interment to take place in Cedar Hill Extension.
