FRANCIS, ROY M. - The death of Roy Malcolm Francis occurred on August 17, 2009 at his residence Sussex Corner, N.B. He was born at Armstrong's Corner Queens County N.B. on May 24, 1924. A son of the late Herbert and Audrey (Harrison) Francis. Roy is survived by his wife of fifty five years Marion (McCullum) Francis; daughter Nancy (Dan) Nelson of Fredericton; sons Stephen (Peggy) Francis of Norton and Mark Francis of Sussex and a special number three son David (Sheila) Greer of Quispamsis. He is also survived by four grandchildren Melissa, Colin, Jeremy, and Justin Francis; three nephews David, Doug, and Dwight Francis; two nieces Brenda DeLong and Cathy McLennan; two sisters-in-law Frances Francis and Gerna McCullum and several cousins. Roy was predeceased by his only brother Fred and brother-in-law Don McCullum. The family will receive visitors at The Sussex Select Community Funeral Home (506- 433- 2133) on Wednesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 20th, 2009 at 11:00a.m in the funeral home chapel.
