HANSON, DAVID WILLIAM - David William Hanson of Northampton, NB, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 20th, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB. Born at Woodstock, NB on May 24th, 1939 to the late Harold and Leota (Tompkins) Hanson. He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Hanson, Nackawic, NB; brothers, Paul Hanson, Northampton, NB, Joseph (Florence) Bouctouche, NB; Jim (Lynn) Northampton, NB. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Sister Shirley Hanson; a brother Thomas; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Hanson. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB where friends may call on Sunday, August 23rd, from 2 to 4 pm, and 7 to 9 pm. Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 24th from St Gertrude's Catholic Church in Woodstock, NB. Father Bill Brennan officiating.
