CONNORS, THERESA - Mrs. Theresa Connors of Sussex Corner passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on August 22nd, 2009, at the age of 79. Born in Sussex, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Hourihan) Whitters and was the wife of the late Frank Connors who passed away December 3rd, 2008. Theresa is survived by her son, Phillip (Ella-May) of Wards Creek; her daughter, Cathy McGibbon (Peter) of Anagance; four brothers: Murray Whitters of Saint John, Fred Whitters (Diane) of Sussex, Frank Whitters (Therese) of St. Stephen and Ed Whitters (Dorie) of Sussex; two sisters: Ann Sharp of Sussex Corner and Bonnie Huggard (Neville) of Sussex; four grandchildren: Meaghan, Jesse, Megan and Kathleen; as well as several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her brother John and her sister Mary Doyle. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church Tuesday, August 25th, 2008 at 10:00 am, followed by the interment in Wards Creek Cemetery.
