(nee Benson) Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Center on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, Lorraine Warren, aged 75 years. Born and raised on Angel Place, St. John's with Victoria Park as her playground. Lorraine was an avid walker, collector of angels, bargain hunter and devoted mother. She is the last surviving child of Reuben and Ethel Benson. Left with fond memories are her children: John Warren, Mike Warren (Dianne), Debbie Halliday (Peter) and Kellie Dyke (Raymond); husband John L. Warren and special niece Gloria Benson. Nan Lorraine will be greatly missed by grandchildren: Amy and Adam Warren, Ashleigh Halliday and Jamie Dyke. At Lorraine's request a cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 10a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Chapel on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at General Protestant Cemetery. The family would like to extend its appreciation to everyone for their condolences. In lieu of flowers donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, L.A.
