Passed away with family by her side after a lengthy illness at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on February 11, 2009, of Pauline Mary MacDonald of Orwell Cove, age 72. Born January 9, 1937, to the late James and Helen Murphy of China Point. Loving wife of Wilbur of 50 years. Beloved mother of Dana (Lee), Helena (Robert Yeo), Lauvena (Tony MacAdam), Ron, Bernie (Francine), Timothy, Juanita (Mike Fawcett), Andrew, Faber (Tasha). Cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Katie, Thomas, Sine, Colin, Eilidh, Mairi, Michaela, Caelan, Kirstee, Shamus, Samuel, Isabel, Lily and Gabriel. She is survived by brothers Everett, Charles (Willie), Leo (Jane), sisters Marie (James Morrissey), Evelyn (Dwight Evans) and Phyllis (Mike Leddy), brother and sisters-in-law Charles, Marcellus (Sheila), Ignatius (Ita) MacDonald, Ronalda (James Whalen) and Augusta (Don Harriman), Gloria (Cyril) Chapman and many numerous nieces and nephews. Transferred from Jenkins Funeral Home, Millview, to the Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford, for visitation Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday leaving the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. for funeral mass at St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River, at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the P.E.I. Right to Life Association would be appreciated. St. Joachim’s CWL will lead prayers at the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Jenkins Funeral Home, Millview.
