ST. PIERRE, O'NEIL LAURIAT - Surrounded by his family, the passing of O'Neil St. Pierre, husband of the late Lillian St. Pierre (Bourgion), formerly of 196 Balmoral Crescent, occurred at the Turnbull Nursing home on Thursday, September 3rd, 2009. He was born on December 8th, 1924 at Degelis, QC to the late Albert and Alma (Morin) St. Pierre. O'Neil worked for J. D. Irving Equipment Ltd. as a crane operator for most of his life, until his retirement. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus and St. Rose Church. O'Neil is survived by his three children: son Gerald St. Pierre (Sue) from Riverview, NB (their children Mark, Greg, and Karen), daughter Helena Wilson (Perry), from Mohannes, NB (their children Charlene and Erica), son Donald St. Pierre (Marion) from Musquash, NB (their children Marion, Monique, and Melissa); 12 great grandchildren; brothers Berthier and Alberic; sisters Dolores, Lise, Rita, Francois, Therese, Annette, Geraldine, Cecile, and Gisele; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, O'Neil was predeceased by sisters Margo and Dorothy. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Monday from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose de Lima Church on Monday at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
