WOOD, AILEEN ELSIE (DANELLS)- wife of the late Ronald F. Wood, Montreal Avenue, Saint John West, N.B., passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 03, 2009. She was born in Saint John on October 22, 1935 to the late Fred and Margaret (Gretta) MacKay Danells. Aileen was employed with Mitchell & McConnell Insurance, and Canadian General Electric. She was a member of the Carleton-Kirk United Church, Carleton Ladies Curling Club and the Fundy Chapter I.O.D.E. Aileen is survived by her daughter, Lori Gail Burbridge; son-in-law, Bill; one granddaughter, Rebecca Aileen Burbridge and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Moira (Mo) Fowler. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 08, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 09, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Castle Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment there will be a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Center.
