PEARSON, DOROTHY - Dorothy "Dot" Pearson of Castlewood Close, Sussex passed away peacefully at her home in the arms of her loving husband and children on September 11th, 2009 at the age of 70. Born in Sussex Corner, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mae (Spencer) Otis. Dot is survived by her adoring husband, Bud; two children, Brent Ruttan (Heather McLennan) of Kingston Peninsula and Kim Cox (Stephen) of Chilliwack, BC; her step-son, Bruce Pearson (Josée) of Fredericton; five grandchildren, Allie Mae Ruttan, Ryan and Erica Cox, Philippe Plourde and Erin Pearson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Dot was a retired Manager/Supervisor of Charm Diamond Centres. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Dot's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Donations made The Peoples Serenity Garden for the Sussex Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family.
