ROY, LIONEL - The death of Lionel Roy of Bathurst occurred September 17th, 2009 at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 76. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Hector Roy and the late Genevieve (Grant). He is survived by his wife, Jenny; sons, Michael (Evelyn) of Cold Lake, Alberta, Danny (Karen) of Belledune, Ronald (Joann) of Kingston, Ontario; daughter, Suzanne Gregg (Stephen) of Fredericton; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as his sisters, Violet, Marcella, Hectorine, and Valerie. His funeral will be held at St. Gabriel's Church, Jacquet River, Monday, September 21st, 2009, at 11 AM. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
