DOHERTY, BEULAH RAE - The death of Beulah Rae Doherty, age 75, of Rothesay, NB, and formerly of Hampton, NB, occurred at Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, September 28, 2009. She was born on November 4, 1933 in Upham, NB, the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Wiggins) Doherty. Beulah is survived by sisters, Bernice and Willard Grear of Quispamsis, NB, Jean Maston of Minto, NB, Marlene and David Mercer of Halifax, NS; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Roberta MacAuley; and brother, Ralph. The family will receive visitors at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Friday from 2 to 8 pm. A celebration of Beulah's life will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2009. A private interment will follow in St. Andrew's Kirk Cemetery, Hammond River, NB.
