CECIL HERBERT WAGG
WAGG, CECIL HERBERT - Passed away on Sunday, October 04, 2009 at the Carleton-Kirk Lodge. Born on May 29, 1920 he was the son of the late Herbert and Della (Ewart) Wagg. Loving husband of Marie (Dyer) Wagg. Cecil was a World War II army veteran and then later retired as a Customs Officer. He enjoyed traveling to different parts of the world. Cecil was a forerunner for Cerebral Palsy and was one of the founders of the Carleton-Kirk Lodge. He was a very active member of the Carleton-Kirk United Church and many more charitable organizations. Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, Lawrence (Jean) Wagg; special nephews, Larry (Louise) Maxwell, Dougie Maxwell, Chris & Tom Wagg; and special friends, Marlene Leaver & Wilkie. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine Marie (Flinn); daughter, Mary Louise Wagg and Elizabeth (Beth) Wagg; and sister, Jessie Maxwell. Arrangements have been made with Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West (634-1701). There will be no visitation by Cecil's request and a private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Cecil, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
