SHORT, MURIEL KATHLEEN - April 10, 1929 - October 3, 2009 - passed away peacefully at home in Quispamsis, NB at the age of 80 years. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted daughter, Tracey (Jim) Connors, and grandchildren, Liam, Mary & Ewan Connors; two other daughters, Barbara Gladue, & Carole Fjellstad of Calgary; four other grand-children, Keeta, Clinton, Jennifer & Alexander and one great-grandson, Drake. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, James who passed away in October, 1999; and granddaughter, Meagan Patience, 1998. Muriel was born in Bradford Yorkshire, England and moved to Canada in the 1950's first to Toronto and then to Calgary where she resided until 2007. Mom was an avid gardener and enjoyed her move to New Brunswick and all the different plants she could now grow. Muriel's devotion to her family was incomparable and she loved her grandchildren deeply. The family sincerely thank all the Extra Mural Nurses for the care they provided. A celebration of Muriel's life will be held at her home, 4 Timberline Crescent, Quispamsis on Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 from 2 to 5 pm.
