BREEN, RORY MICHAEL - The unexpected passing of Rory Michael Breen of Saint John, NB occurred on Monday, October 5, 2009 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Quebec City, QC. Born in Sussex, NB on February 27, 1986, a son of Michael John Breen and Catherine Anne (O'Neill) Serre. Rory enjoyed music and playing sports and was a people person. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and large extended family. He is survived by his father, Mike Breen (Kim Making) of Saint John; his mother, Kate Serre (Richard) of Windsor, ON; step-mother, Wanda Breen of Saint John; three brothers, Robert "BJ" (Korey Roy) of Moncton, NB, Colin and Devon, both of Saint John; paternal grandmother, Norma Breen of Saint John; maternal grandparents, Brad and Helen McCluskey of Saint John; step-grand-parents, John and Bette Shannon of Saint John; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John L. Breen. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment will be at a later date.
