OLSEN, MARY ANN - The death of Mary Ann Olsen of Saint John, NB, wife of the late William Olsen, occurred on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newfoundland on November 12, 1918, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Harris. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She loved to play bingo. Survived by two sons, Bernard (Dawn) of Saint John and William (Diane) of Kentville, NS; two daughters, Loretta (Harold) Diamond of Adam's Cove, NL and Andrea Bennett of Moncton, NB; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter, Mary; several brothers and sisters and one grandson. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
