MACDONALD, NORMAN HESTLE - Norman H. MacDonald of Lake George, NB passed away October 17, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Norman was born in 1914 on Prince Edward Island, a son of the late Angus and Catherine (Culleton) MacDonald. He is survived by his children, James MacDonald (Donna), Frederick MacDonald (Carol), both of Oshawa, ON, Floyd MacDonald (Nancy), Charters Settlement, NB, Norma Waugh (George), Fredericton, NB, Kenneth MacDonald (Pat), Harvey Station, NB, Katherine Patterson (Wilfred), Temple, NB, Christine Arbeau (Jerry), Red Bank, NB, Charles MacDonald (Myrna), Lake George, NB and Calvin MacDonald (Ronda), St. Stephen, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Annie MacDonald, McAdam, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his wife, Georgie M. (Johnson) MacDonald on September 14, 2003; a son, David Edwin; a sister, Mary Bell McLeod; and brothers, Harold, Ray, Lloyd, Elmer, Wilfred and Bill. Visiting hours will be held at the Harvey United Pentecostal Church, 2031 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Todd McGuire and Rev. Theodore Craig officiating. Interment will follow at Prince William Cemetery.
