LAHEY, Christopher Michael – Passed peacefully away on February 12th, 2009, in his sixtieth year, Christopher Michael Lahey, recently residing at Comfort Manor in Holyrood, and formerly of South Dildo, Trinity Bay, and Gander. Predeceased by his loving parents William and Mary (Organ) Lahey. Leaving to mourn nine cousins: Bishop Raymond Lahey (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), Grace (Dennis) O'Keefe (St. John's), Leonard Lahey (Vancouver), William Lahey (Grand Falls-Windsor), Nellie Evans (St. John’s), Margaret (Peter) Kirsebon (British Columbia), Louise O’Grady, Mary (Courtney) Maddigan and Elizabeth Moore (all of St. John’s), as well as a wide circle of caring friends, especially those at Comfort Manor. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visiting hours from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Cremation to follow.
