FLETCHER, JENNIE SABRY - Jennie S. Fletcher of Harvey Station, NB passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 26, 2009. Jennie was born at Marysville, NB in 1919, a daughter of the late Judson and Rowena (Boyce) Arnold. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very involved with her community, receiving many prestigious awards, including the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal. Jennie is survived by a daughter, Judy Halford (Peter), Saint John, NB; three sons, George Fletcher (Sandra), Harvey, NB, David Fletcher (Joanne), Harvey, NB and Steven Fletcher, Fredericton, NB; a daughter-in-law, Marcia Fletcher, Harvey, NB; two sisters, Joyce Graham, Fredericton, NB and Barb Burdon (Tom), Montreal, Quebec; a sister-in-law, Helen Andrin (George), London, ON; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a special friend and neighbor, Betty Corey, Harvey, NB and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Dr. George E. Fletcher; a son, Robert Fletcher; and brothers, Boyce and Moses Arnold. Visiting hours will be held at the St. James Room of St. Andrew's United Church of Canada, 2350 Route 3, Harvey, NB on Thursday from 1:30 to 2 pm for Jennie's older friends and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm for all others. Funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 3 pm with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Mountain Cemetery.
