MONT, MARSHALL ARTHUR - The death of Marshall Arthur Mont occurred on Monday November 2, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax NS, on June 3 1931, he was the son of the late Jack and Cecilia (Bell) Mont. Marshall was in the Air force for 20 years and worked in North Vancouver as a dispatcher for 25 years at Cate's Towing. Surviving are wife Phyliss Marie McConnell-Mont; step-children, Donna Heather White of Pouce Coupe, B.C., Debra Bathgate of Saint John, Diane McConnell of Saint John, Colin McConnell of Saint John and their extended families; brother, Kingsley Mont of Halifax; sisters, Beverly Knapp (Bill) of Phoenix, Arizona and Susan (Dixie) Brown of California and various nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John NB (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
