WRIGHT, IRENE OLIVIA - The death of Irene Wright occurred on October 31, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on September 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Connie and Dorothy (London) Carroll. All those that knew Irene admired her for her fierce independence. Surviving are her son, Kenneth Wright (Ivy) of Pleasantville, NS; grandsons, Kenneth and Alexander Wright; sister, Donna MacEachern; brothers, Stephen Carroll (Cathy), David Carroll (Joanne); numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by son, John and by brothers, Charles Carroll and Alan Carroll. There will be a private family gathering at 122 Topeka Street, Saint John, NB on Thursday, November 5 at 2 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John NB (646-2424). By request there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
