KING, HAZEL MYRTLE - The death of Hazel Myrtle King, age 91, wife of the late Arthur King, of Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Friday, November 13, 2009. She was born in Belyea's Cove, NB on September 22, 1918, the daughter of the late Miles and Myrtle (Brown) MacDonald. Hazel is survived by daughter Linda (Ronald) Gionet of Lower Sackville, NS; sons Allison (Wendy) King of Saint John, NB, Stephen (Nancy) King of Rothesay, NB, Terry (Margot-Jane) King of Saint John, NB; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Josephine Coleman of Saint John, NB; sister-in-law Peggy MacDonald of Belyea's Cove, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins, loving companion niece Sharon and compassionate caregiver Gail Doucette. She was predeceased by granddaughter Nichala-Jane; sisters Florence Craft, Edith Gaudet, Mildred Welch, Ada Ducey, Bernice Clark, Marjorie Gray; brothers Alfred and George. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel, Norton, NB, at 11:00 am., on Monday, November 16, 2009. Interment will follow in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB.
