THEODORE "TED" AINSLEY MARKS
MARKS, THEODORE "TED" AINSLEY - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Ted Marks of Saint John who passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 13th, 2009 due to heart failure. Born 1933 in West River, Albert County to the late Hayes and Josephine (Morrisey) Marks. In earlier years Ted was in the Royal Canadian Air force where at that time he met his wife Dorothy at the MacDonald Air force Base in Manitoba. Later in life he did leather work, carpentry and painting, Ted was a perfectionist. He is survived by three sons Wayne (Lynn), Tim (Faye) and Brent all of Portage Le Prairie, MB; six beloved grandchildren Billy, Jessie, Shaylee, Cody, Leah and Shelby; one brother Floyd Marks (Marion) and one sister Shirley Fleck both of Saint John; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ted was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Lucyck) Marks in 1969, sister Joan Ryan and his niece Gail Ryan. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) at 2:00 pm. Private family interment to take place at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery in Portage Le Prairie, MB, where Ted will be laid to rest next to Dorothy.
