DILES, MICHAIL - The death of Mr. Michail Diles of Saint John occurred on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born on April 5, 1918 in Greece, a son of the late George and Konstantina (Haralampopoulou) Diles. He was a farmer in his native country and emigrated to Canada in 2003. He is survived by his daughter, Konstantina (Nick) Georgoudis of Saint John; two step-daughters, Georgia Kotsiris of Greece and Aggeliki Rizis of Montreal; one sister, Maria of Greece, three grandchildren, George (Christie) of Saint John, Michael (Nicole) of Rothesay, NB and Penelope of Boston, MA; six great-grandchildren, Emilie, Nicole, Alexa, Nicholas, Paul and Anna; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Panagiota. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Dorchester Street on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
