At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Thursday, February 12, 2009, of Gordon Ellsworth Leard of Martinvale, age 67 years. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Shaw) Leard. Loving father of Coralee (John) McLaine, Stratford, and Kristen (Serge) Nowlan, Moncton. Cherised grandfather of Lily, Lauren and Ben. Predeceased by his parents, Birt and Helen (Burdett) Leard and his brother, Ralph. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Sunday, then to St. Andrew's Presbyterian, Cardigan, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in the People’s Cemetery. Visitation: Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Cardigan, or to Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. would be appreciated.
