HAMMOND, JEAN - peacefully in Edmundston, in her 91st year. Jean was predeceased by her parents Robert and Hettie (Dayton) and by her siblings, Roberta Murchie, Greta MacKenzie and Dayton Hammond. She is survived by a large extended family including her sister-in-law, Eleanor Hammond, nieces and nephews Janet Flett, Bob Murchie (Joan), Margaret Dumbrille (Paul), Robert Hammond (Betty), Sally Hammond and Judy Hammond (Glenn Cameron) and many great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many friends in Edmundston and elsewhere and, especially, by her dear friend Rosalie Van Wart and her husband Jim and their children, Christine, Danny and Julie. In accordance with Jean's wishes she will be buried in the churchyard at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Edmundston on Monday, November 30, 2009, following a visitation beginning at 12:30pm and a service at 2:00pm at the Brunswick Funeral Home
