JAMER, RODERICK - of Perth-Andover passed away at the Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on November 26, 2009. Born in New Britain, CT, on January 29, 1929, he was the son of the late Randolph and Inez (Pickard) Jamer. Roddy leaves behind his wife Reta (DeMerchant) Jamer, his daughters Claudia (James) Thompson of Shubenacadie, NS, Marilyn (Clifford) Raymond of Shubenacadie, NS, Kim (William) Falkenberg of Enfield, NS; his sister Helen (William) McPhail of Charlottetown, PEI; six grandchildren and one great grandson. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Marlene Luce; and his brother Randolph Jamer. Roddy was a janitor at the Southern Victoria High School for over 35 years. In accordance with Roddy's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 4 pm at the Larlee Creek Cemetery. Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc will officiate. For those who wish, donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
