WEBSTER, MELZA - The death of Melza (Mel) Alexander Webster, loving husband to Charlotte (Ells) Webster occurred on Monday December 7, 2009 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1936 in Fraserville, NS he was the son of the late Bradford and Bessie (Robinson) Webster. Besides his wife Charlotte, he is survived by his children Chris (Tina) Webster, Marg (Anselmo) Sotolongo and Norma (Ken) Robichaud all of Saint John; one brother Jim (Wanda) Webster of Advocate Hbr, NS; a proud grandpa to his grandchildren Brad and Laurel Webster, Nathan Sotolongo, Shelby and Emily Robichaud; in-laws Reg and Eva Ells; sisters-in-law Sharon Neves and Maureen (Ken) Collins; brothers-in-law Dale (Leah) Ells and Brian (Connie) Ells; several nieces and nephews. Mel was a sheet metal worker and prior to his retirement in 1994 he worked with Steen Mechanical for 20 years. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 2 pm.
